I use collage as a tool. It allows me to deconstruct arrangements in time, and reconstruct new ones. By fragmenting along the picture plane (contained to four corners), I use its edges to extend (or cut-off) parts of the body. I am interested in rearranging flatness and dimensionality, negotiating figure and ground. 

I address Protestant altar pieces and their divine representation by crafting an alternate space for queer identity, beyond the confines of tableaux.
